An Honest Review of Japanese Game Little Battlers
This newest PSP game from level 5, the little battlers experience, is fast becoming a craze among Japanese kids. This fictional game reeks of the ultimate Japanese culture. The entire game itself is the perfect integration of all the games and entertainment in Japan. The scenes are very anime in style. And the cut scenes are very well produced. The game has this bright and cheery background, although the combat itself is not that impressive. The actual play is quite standard. The entire game is quite simple, that is why most kids find it satisfying.
The game begins when the player buys a mech from a toyshop. Once mechs are formed, you meet up with your friends on the LBX boards and pit your respective mechs against one another. Each of these mechs has varying levels of capabilities and skills. A battle is waiting to unfold as a military group producing robots ended up in the wrong hands. The LBX mechs now have to be put in a combat for a real battle against the robots.
The big question is whether the game Little Battlers would strike a chord in the Western audience. It probably would not as the entire facet of the game greatly reflects the Japanese culture.
